Around a year ago I started working with an author on his debut novel.
It’s fair to say that I became a fan.
The world of Ethasar is rich and exciting and captured me right form the get-go. Add to that unique and exciting characters, an epic storyline, a war of the gods, and plot twists, deception, adrenaline-fuelled action, and a whole lot of heart and you have this:
War of the Seven, the first of the Ethasar Chronicles.
I could go on about this for a while - it came out a week ago and I’ve already reread it - but maybe the best thing to do is simply share the blurb as the author intended.
In seven years, the Vengeful One will come. He'll shatter the world of Ethasar into pieces. And none of the gods are strong enough to stop him.
Their only chance is for one god to wield all their powers. The other six must die. And so, Ethasar’s seven kingdoms clash in a great war that will decide the fates of their gods.
When her king is murdered by an enemy spy, Frida, a brave and skilled pirate captain, leads the seafaring Islanders to war. Days later, a treacherous captain sinks half her fleet and allies himself with the vampire queen. With her forces greatly weakened, Frida must prevail over fierce orcs and powerful giants, chivalrous knights and bloodthirsty vampires, elusive desert assassins, and the legions of an ancient empire. If she fails, the sea god dies.
If this sounds good to you, I highly recommend checking it out. The ebook came out last week and it’s comfortably sitting in the top spot for new releases on Amazon US. I’ll put the links below.
And for those of you, like me, who enjoy heavy metal (Iron Maiden, Dio, Metallica), each book in the series has its own album, which you can find through the link below.
Note: none of these are affiliate links. I believe those who enjoy epic action-packed fantasy will love this and I want to share this epic series with the world.
So, check it out, support an indie author, and enjoy exploring the world of Ethasar!
